What I Eat

These are some of my go-to-recipes I first used to help me when I first started a keto way of eating.  I will add more as I find new recipes that I use often.

Fathead Pizza

This had got to be my all time favourite Keto food to eat.  I love pizza and when I found the recipe for this, I was so excited to try it out.  To be honest, I probably make this once a week.  The crust is made with mozzarella and almond flour.  Like, who doesn’t like a pizza made with a mozzarella crust!?!?

The only change I make is that I replace the rosemary with oregano.

Low Carb Ice Cream (Gelato)

This has got to be the best ever gelato I have ever had.  It is delicious and rich and I am in love with it.  The photos don’t do it justice but take my word for it, you will never go back to regular ice cream.

Chocolate Mint Gelato

I use this recipe from Keto Connect.  In fact, Keto Connect is my favourite keto website. They have great recipes and are often doing live videos where they talk about anything and everything keto.  Truly down to earth couple who are my kinda people.  Check them out here.

Fatbombs

I used to make a big batch of these peanut butter chocolate fat bombs every week and store them in my freezer so I could have one (or two) after dinner every night.  They definitely helped me with my sweet tooth in the first couple of months of starting Keto.

Fatbombs are normally used to help get enough fat into your diet and reach your macro goals.

Big Ass Salads

Salads are my go to meal.  I get creative and add all the good stuff like cheese, eggs, bacon, creamy dressings.  I hardly enjoyed my salads until I started doing keto and added all the good stuff to it.  Now I love salads and eat a big ass bowl of salad almost daily.  With the right proportions  you can likely make the perfect macro meal with a salad.
